Procedure:
Chickens were immunized with peptide
conjugated to KLH. After several immunizations,
eggs were collected and the IgY fraction was
prepared. Anti-E-tag antibodies were
immunoaffinity purified using the peptide
immobilized on a solid phase.
Specification:
Antibody was specifically verified by ELISA
against the peptide conjugated to BSA (E-tag-
BSA). A 1:20,000 dilution of the antibody gave
an O.D.=1.0 in a 15 minute reaction using TMB
as substrate.

Format:
Liquid. Affinity-purified antibody in PBS, pH 7.2
with 0.1% sodium azide.
Storage and Stability:
Store at +4°C.
Applications and Suggested Dilutions:

ELISA: Coating, use at 1:200 – 1:500.

Western blot: Use at 1:5,000
The optimal dilution for a specific application
should be determined by the researcher.
